Project Manager – Distribution Operations

The Project Manager- Distribution Operations reports to the Vice-President Operations. The Project Manager is responsible for projects involving different departments worldwide, such as Distribution Centers, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Value Added services. Additionally, the Project Manager acts as a business analyst to initiate, justify, review, and recommend alternatives to meet company needs effectively. This role collaborates across all areas and regions for ad hoc projects and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare business analyses of projects, including meeting minutes, reports, and supporting documents for approval and implementation.
2. Review and improve process flows, optimize operations projects for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
3. Create project plans, solicit bids, collaborate with suppliers, develop bid matrices, and recommend final selections to the operational team for approval and execution.
4. Assist the Operations team in resolving daily issues and ensure efficient operational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Arts, Business, or Engineering.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• 2 to 5+ years of specific project experience.
• Or 2 to 5+ years of distribution-related experience.
• Or 2 to 5+ years of analyst and operational experience.
• Ability to support internal customers and address operational needs.
• Knowledge of systems and information technology relevant to business operations.
• Experience with corporate environments, strategic or business processes, supply chain, distribution centers, and logistics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, dependability, tenacity, and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to prioritize issues, escalate when necessary, and seek constructive solutions.
