Role Description

This position works closely with the technology team to manage the Shopify website and ensure all products, merchandise, and event tickets are accurately submitted on the site. The role also communicates with the Presidents to relay order information and provide technology assistance where needed. The Product Management Director is also responsible for researching and bringing new ideas and technologies to the team and LazSoc. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and detail-oriented.

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Update website content regularly (hiring, merchandise, and event posts)

Main source of contact between clubs and LazSoc's website.

Complete projects on an ad hoc basis

Attend all weekly LazSoc full team meetings and LazSoc events

Identify opportunities to add value and improve implementation of website

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

Strong organization and communication skills

Any coding experience (e.g., Python, VBA.) is recommended

Someone who can easily pick up and replicate tasks

Experience with the Shopify platform is an asset, but not required

Good collaboration skills, strong written & oral communication

Passion for learning about technology & looking for an opportunity to gain coding experience!

Time Commitment

Approx. 8-10 hours per week - will vary throughout the year depending on projects.
