Job Description
Trillium Guideway Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Interface Specialist to support our Project Interface Manager and their delegates on the Ontario Line Elevated Guideway and Stations Project with all commercial and contractual activities related to the project.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Project Interface Manager on all interface-related issues between Project PCos, TAs, and Stakeholders.
Support the development of the Interface Management Plan for the project and ensures the process is followed by all.
Support the compilation of a complete list of interfaces and track the development with other contracts
Coordinate the Implementation and tracking the usage of interface management processes and procedures by the team.
Support in the facilitation of interface meetings, including tracking of milestone dates for relevant meetings.
Support the resolution of any cross-boundary interface issues to meet the requirements of the project.
Gather and assess information to ensure DMCA Works and other schedules are correlated and reconciled with Project Co activities.
Assist in determining construction interfaces of non-PPP packages with the future PPP packages to ensure that interfaces comply with PPP output specifications.
Support the development of mitigation and/or incentives to reduce risks associated with the utility and construction interfaces.
Collaborate with the project team to provide support interface issues.
Initiate and track the traceability and recording of interface agreements and changes including the creation of Interface Control Documents for each interface.
Review project schedules for consideration of interface requirements so that deliverables are provided in a timely manner across the program.
Monitor interface and implementation processes.
Support working with the TA to tie together the IDR process, constructability, and commissioning processes.
Support the creation, maintenance, and dashboard reporting of the status of Interfaces to be tracked, validated, and verified across the Project.
Perform other related duties as assigned, promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration.
Work Conditions:
Office-based with frequent site visits to supervise construction interfaces.
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the rail industry and/or large-scale infrastructure projects or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with BIM and good skills with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
