Job summary

Seguintrucking is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects in Northeastern Ontario. You will work closely with Superintendents, clients, consultants and subcontractors to keep projects on time, on budget and compliant with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a background in civil construction project management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, costs and contracts.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and multiple priorities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft 365/Project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts and invoicing.
• Plan construction methodology, sequencing and resource requirements.
• Manage contracts, RFIs, change events and change orders.
• Coordinate superintendents, project staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, quality and schedule performance.
• Maintain strong communication with owners, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Lead project meetings and ensure action items are completed.
• Support estimating, quantity take-offs and tender preparation as required.

Ed Seguin & Sons (ESS) is a family-owned civil construction, surface mining and aggregate company serving Northeastern Ontario since 1967. We're growing and looking for an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful infrastructure projects while working with an experienced, hands-on team where your contribution is noticed and valued.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of civil construction projects from planning through completion. You'll work closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects safe, on schedule and financially successful.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts and invoicing
• Plan construction methodology, sequencing and resource requirements
• Manage contracts, RFIs, change events and change orders

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of civil construction project management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, costs and contracts
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and multiple priorities
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with field operations and taking ownership of project results
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft 365/Project is an asset
• College diploma, university degree or equivalent industry experience
• C.E.T., P.Eng. or PMP designation is an asset
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites
