Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

1. Set project timeline
2. Monitor and manage project deliverables
3. Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
4. Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
5. Support procurement process, including tendering, negotiations, and contract management.
6. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies on all assigned projects.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or Engineering with 10 plus years experience managing large scale multi-million dollar projects
2. PMP certification is an asset
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (new construction, renovations, retrofits)
4. Experience managing projects within the healthcare and post secondary institutions is preferred.
5. Strong business acumen in project planning and management
6. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
