We are actively seeking a talented Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead as the subject matter expert for our customer’s manufacturing test development projects, including test software, hardware, and integration. The TPM will support data center manufacturing test development projects. You will have the opportunity to network with multiple customer teams, suppliers, engineers, and a team of experts to maximize support.
Your contribution in this role:
- Manage data center test infrastructure projects through planning, development, and deployment to support NPI manufacturing.
- Manage test strategy, schedule, budget, risk, procurement, logistics, and integration for manufacturing test solutions, ensuring alignment with NPI program schedules.
- Coordinate supplier selection for test fixture components and JDM solutions.
- Drive communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers to identify problems, escalate issues, create solutions, and implement improvements.
- Maintain and co-author technical documentation for test plans, processes, and initiatives, including presentations, dashboards, and requirements documents.
- Evaluate technological strategies based on stakeholder requirements and test implications.
- Support Averna sales by demonstrating our capabilities, including industry trends, standards, and typical challenges in manufacturing testing.
The ideal candidate:
- Degree: Bachelor’s in electrical, computer, industrial engineering, or a related manufacturing field.
- Required: 5+ years in project management within high-visibility, strategic areas, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing test industries.
- Experience with various testing approaches (functional, performance, stress).
- Experience managing suppliers and partners for test requirements.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Manufacturing test design experience.
- Experience working across cultures and time zones.
- Communication: Ability to work in a customer-facing role, with excellent verbal and written skills, and professional interaction with diverse teams.
- Change management skills, including documentation, communication, and training.
- Strong ownership and escalation skills.
- Multilingual: Fluent in French and highly proficient in English.
- Mobility: May need to travel up to 5% of the time or as required by the customer.
- Schedule: Flexible hours supporting Pacific Time Zone (GMT-7) and East Asia (GMT+8).
