About the job
About ClimateDoor & Unify Partners

ClimateDoor and Unify Partners are organizations working together to accelerate climate innovation and support Indigenous-led economic development across Canada. At ClimateDoor, we partner with founders and organizations building solutions in clean energy, agriculture, critical resources, and the broader climate economy, helping them secure capital, build strategic partnerships, and bring innovative technologies to market. Through Unify Partners, we work alongside Indigenous Nations, communities, and aligned organizations to transform priorities into action by connecting funding, partnerships, and long-term implementation support.

Together, we believe meaningful impact is built through collaboration, integrity, and follow-through. We value people who are proactive, curious, and committed to solving complex challenges while building trusted relationships. Whether we're supporting climate ventures or advancing Nation-led initiatives, our teams work with purpose, accountability, and a shared commitment to creating lasting economic, environmental, and community impact.

If you're motivated by purpose-driven work and believe strong relationships are the foundation of lasting change, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

We are hiring a Project Manager to keep Nation-led projects organized, on track, and delivered. We work alongside Indigenous communities and aligned partners to move community priorities into action across energy, infrastructure, economic development, labour market work, and housing. We run several projects at once, each with different partners, funders, and timelines. You hold all of that together. You know where everything stands, what is due next, and what is at risk before it becomes a problem. You take a short brief and bring back something close to finished, freeing senior staff to move faster on relationships and strategy.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and manage projects from start to finish, including scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Coordinate across internal teams, community partners, funders, and external contributors to keep work moving
  • Build and maintain the systems that keep projects organized: trackers, documentation, and shared workspaces
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and risks, and flag issues early
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, partners, and reporting
  • Support senior staff so relationship and strategy work can move faster
  • Travel within Canada as projects require, roughly 20 to 30 percent of the time
What We're Looking For
  • 2 to 4 years in project management, project coordination, or a closely related role
  • Demonstrated technical competence with data and digital tools
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Based in Canada, within reach of our Vancouver, BC office to support project travel
  • Ability to travel within Canada 20 to 30 percent of the time
What You Bring
  • The ability to manage several projects, timelines, and sets of partners at once without losing the thread
  • Confidence in spreadsheets, project and database platforms, and shared workspaces, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly, including AI tools
  • The ability to take a short brief and run with it, with limited oversight
  • Clear communication with internal teams, partners, and funders
  • Interest in Indigenous community development and the work we do
  • An understanding of OCAP and data sovereignty principles, or the readiness to learn why they shape how we manage information
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience working with Indigenous communities, Nations, or Indigenous-led organizations
  • Experience with funder reporting or grant-funded projects
  • Formal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar)
  • Experience building or improving project systems in tools like Asana, Airtable, or Notion
A Note on Who We Are Hiring

We are an Indigenous-led organization and strongly encourage applications from First Nations, Inuit, and Métis candidates. We welcome people to self-identify if they choose.

Accommodations are available throughout every stage of the hiring process for candidates who require them.
