Position Overview

StepStones for Youth is seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Project Manager with extensive experience in social services (ideally related to topics such as child protection and youth homelessness) to oversee multiple concurrent projects. The project manager will be responsible for supporting program evaluation, research, partner collaboration, stakeholder engagement and this will also include the activation of our newly acquired property — which will become the first dedicated hub in Canada designed specifically for young people involved in the child welfare system — along with other cross-organizational strategic initiatives. This role will play a key role in transforming a physical space into a welcoming, purpose-built environment where young people can access wrap-around supports, programming, and community. This hub will serve as a model for what support for youth involved in foster care can look like across the country.

This is a generalist project management role that requires strong operational judgment, the ability to create structure in dynamic and evolving environments, and comfort balancing long-term strategic planning with day-to-day problem solving.

The successful candidate will work with senior leadership to ensure key initiatives are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule.
