Job summary

Collabera is seeking a senior climate data strategist to lead cross-functional efforts in collecting and analyzing data for strategic climate metrics. You will drive quarterly internal reporting, including roadmap and narrative development, while coordinating with executives and stakeholders.

The role focuses on owning measurement methodologies, managing project plans, and delivering detailed dashboards and briefings that inform Board decisions.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional work experience in management consulting, financial services, sustainability/cleantech or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail with ability to manage stakeholders across levels.
  • Experience with large datasets in Excel and interacting with technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines, preferably with project management.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline.

Job description

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and working cross-functionally across teams to collect, analyze and prepare data for strategic climate metrics.
  • Lead quarterly internal reporting on climate, including product roadmap/vision, stakeholder engagement, narrative development, project management, and controls/review.
  • Prepare and summarize quarterly dashboards, PowerPoint presentations and briefings that communicate actionable insights for senior leader, executive and Board review and decision making.
  • Own and manage methodologies and related process documentation for measurement of key climate metrics, including the Energy Supply Ratio and Low-Carbon and Renewables lending commitments, and identify and drive synergies in measurement and data sourcing across metrics.
  • Create, maintain and manage detailed project plans, and oversee delivery against tight timelines.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to enable granular measurement of sectoral and line-of-business performance progress.
  • Lead and support with ad‑hoc climate‑ and/or data‑related strategy projects.
Essential Program / Technology / Software Knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in Excel – to collect and analyze climate data.
Must-Have Skills / Experience / Education
  • 6+ years of professional work experience in management consulting, financial services, sustainability/cleantech or an entrepreneurial environment, or other comparable experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail, proven ability to manage stakeholders across all levels of a large organization with impact and influence.
  • Experience and comfort working with large datasets in Excel, and interacting with technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities under tight timelines, ideally through relevant work experience in project management.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or other relevant discipline.
Nice-to-Have Skills / Experience / Education
  • Proven working experience as a project manager, ideally in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of emerging climate technologies and/or relevant climate methodologies and concepts such as sustainable finance and financed emissions.
  • Passion and interest in driving environmental change.
  • Skills and experience building executive‑facing dashboards using data analytics or AI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).
Soft Skills
  • Good collaborative and communication skills to work cross functionally to collect data.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

The expected base salary range for this position is $50 – $52 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
