Job summary

Adescor / Parmerit in Strathroy, Ontario, seeks a Project Manager to drive complex industrial automation projects end-to-end. You will align engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers to deliver new systems to market, reporting to the General Manager.

The role is on-site, newly created for growth, with final wage determined by experience and qualifications. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams and ensure project milestones are met with strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading complex industrial equipment, automation, or product programs.
• Strong project management, organizational, and execution capability.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex industrial equipment and product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules with milestones and risk tracking.
• Coordinate engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and software.
• Support system integration, testing, validation, commissioning, deployment.
• Drive accountability and momentum across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and partners to ensure alignment.
• Support manufacturing readiness, production planning, and launches.
• Assist with service procedures, technical documentation, and deployment support.
• Monitor field performance and drive continuous improvement from feedback.

The Opportunity

We are presently seeking a Project Manager to play a key role in driving projects forward, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, service, suppliers, and leadership teams while helping deliver innovative industrial systems to market.

This role is on-site and reporting to the General Manager.

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth and expansion across our operations.

The final wage will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall qualifications.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead complex industrial equipment and product development projects from concept through commercialization
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking plans
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and software teams
• Support system integration, testing, validation, commissioning, and deployment activities
• Drive accountability and maintain momentum across cross-functional teams
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and external technical partners to ensure execution alignment
• Support manufacturing readiness, production planning, and operational launch activities
• Assist with service procedures, technical documentation, and deployment support
• Monitor field performance and help drive continuous improvement based on operational feedback

What You Bring

• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Experience leading complex industrial equipment, automation, or product development programs
• Strong project management, organizational, and execution capability
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and competing priorities
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and technical partners
• Comfortable operating in both technical and operational environments
• Industrial automation or plastic processing systems
• PLC/HMI and industrial controls environments
• Product launch, commissioning, or field deployment support
• Customer-facing technical project experience
• International projects, installations, or service coordination
