Job summary

Adescor Inc. in Strathroy, Ontario, seeks a Project Manager to drive complex industrial equipment and product development projects from concept through commercialization. This on-site role reports to the General Manager and involves coordinating mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and software teams.

You will build schedules, manage risks, coordinate suppliers and external partners, and support manufacturing readiness and field deployment to deliver high-performance automation systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with a track record leading industrial equipment or automation projects.
• Strong PM skills with ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, and software teams.
• Proven communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and technical partners on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex industrial equipment and product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and software.
• Support system integration, testing, validation, commissioning, and deployment activities.
• Drive accountability and momentum across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and technical partners to ensure alignment.
• Support manufacturing readiness, production planning, and operational launch activities.
• Assist with service procedures and deployment documentation.
• Monitor field performance and drive continuous improvement from feedback.

The Opportunity

We are presently seeking a Project Manager to play a key role indriving projects forward, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, service, suppliers, and leadership teams while helping deliver innovative industrial systems to market.

This role is on-site and reporting to the General Manager.

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth and expansion across our operations.

The final wage will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall qualifications.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead complex industrial equipment and product development projects from concept through commercialization
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking plans
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and software teams
• Support system integration, testing, validation, commissioning, and deployment activities
• Drive accountability and maintain momentum across cross-functional teams
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and external technical partners to ensure execution alignment
• Support manufacturing readiness, production planning, and operational launch activities
• Assist with service procedures, technical documentation, and deployment support
• Monitor field performance and help drive continuous improvement based on operational feedback

What You Bring

• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, manufacturing, or a related discipline
• Experience leading complex industrial equipment, automation, or product development programs
• Strong project management, organizational, and execution capability
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and competing priorities
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with suppliers, contractors, and technical partners
• Comfortable operating in both technical and operational environments
• Industrial automation or plastic processing systems
• PLC/HMI and industrial controls environments
• Product launch, commissioning, or field deployment support
• Customer-facing technical project experience
• International projects, installations, or service coordination
