Job summary

BUILD®️Recruitment Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex federal and commercial interior projects in Ottawa. You will ensure projects stay within budget, timeline, and scope while communicating progress to clients and stakeholders.

You will drive scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and change management, mentoring team members and coordinating with clients to deliver successful outcomes in the Ottawa market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement projects within budget, timeline, and scope.
• Monitor and present project updates to stakeholders, clients, or team members.
• Update relevant stakeholders on project progress.
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
• Manage ground-up and interior ICI construction projects.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and change management.
• Based in, or able to work within, the Ottawa market.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

Existing federal government security clearance is a major advantage!

• Federal government project experience is highly desirable
• Ideally has experience across both ground-up and interior ICI construction
• Experience independently managing projects valued around $10M or more
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
• Strong experience managing commercial and institutional interior fit-out projects
• Strong background in scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, client communication, change management, and project delivery
• Must be based in, or able to work within, the Ottawa market
