Job summary

Modine, a leading provider of commercial HVAC and data center solutions, seeks a Project Manager for Scott Springfield Manufacturing in Calgary, AB. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of custom air handling unit projects, bridging customers, sales reps, engineering, production, quality and logistics.

The role requires 3–5 years PM experience, a related degree, and exceptional communication. PMP is an asset.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct experience in a Project Management role.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent technical field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, including budget, schedule, and resource management.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with confidence in dealing with diverse customer groups, and manufacturing staff.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or custom HVAC/air handling systems is an asset.
• Experience managing complex or multi-site projects.
• Experience in process mapping and KPI Reporting is an asset

• Exercise cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion post-project evaluations to identify variances and learnings.

Position Description

Scott Springfield Manufacturing is tier-1 supplier that offers scalable air handling solutions for commercial
and industrial customers across North America. SSM’s leadership team have intentionally created a

garnered a hard-earned reputation for customer service, quality and reliability. To support its growth, SSM
is looking to add a Project Manager to our Team.

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the primary operational and external bridge connecting our
customers, sales reps, and internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality, and
Logistics and more). You will be accountable for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our custom air
handling unit projects.

This role will be based at our 2234 Portland St SE location in Calgary Alberta, Canada

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, building and maintaining trusted working relationships.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer meetings, project status reviews, and on-site factory tours.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Prepare and deliver quotations for products and modifications.
• Process customer orders and manage demand dates in our system.
• Collaborate with customers on scheduling shipments and factory loading.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership:

• Lead customer-driven initiatives internally, coordinating with Production, Engineering, and QA teams.
• Prioritize project activities within the Sales and Engineering teams.
• Mitigate project risks proactively by identifying potential supply chain, manufacturing, orscheduling bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
• Suggest and implement improvements for internal processes.
• Exercise necessary cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion post-project evaluations to identify root causes of variances, lessons learned, andopportunities for process refinement.

Required Education & Qualifications
