Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the Project Engineer will support engineering and equipment package management for the Project Team based at the Calgary head office.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be a key member of the project execution team. The successful candidate will gain a deep understanding of Enersul’s technologies and equipment, and build strong relationships with project teams for new and existing customers. Key goals include :

• Participating in technical reviews with the client’s EPC or technical group.
• Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with key clients.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks during client interactions regarding quality and expediting.
• Managing customer expectations during project delivery in collaboration with the project team.
• Ensuring “Zero Defect” quality during manufacturing and fabrication.
• Coordinating technical information with sub-vendors and procurement for commercial matters.
• Collaborating with R&D on new product initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

• Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in technical roles within industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, or machinery design.
• Strong understanding of design principles.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
