Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director MEP to join our team! In this role, you will lead a team to deliver an iconic project in Neom.
Role Purpose
- The Project Director - MEP is responsible for overseeing all pre- and post-construction activities for tertiary MEP services in the 3D MMC assembly facility and onsite for residential and non-residential assets across City Built Infrastructure.
- This role requires familiarity with contractual obligations and technical aspects of complex MEP systems and installation, developing work package plans using prefabricated components or packaged plants to support the program.
- Oversee planning, coordination, and control of project interfaces for Tertiary MEP systems, including primary MEP systems, commissioning, and handover (COBie data).
- Interface closely with the City Infrastructure MEP team, responsible for delivering Primary MEP services.
- Develop stakeholder management plans to engage key stakeholders regularly, managing expectations and outcomes.
- Foster a workplace culture prioritizing compliance with policies, procedures, and project governance.
- Involve actively in pre- and post-contract phases, requiring experience in both.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver the pre- and post-construction phases of MEP for residential and non-residential assets, applying technical expertise and leadership.
- Develop MEP work package plans aligned with cost and program objectives.
- Provide input during design phases to ensure buildability and alignment with project deliverables.
- Ensure MEP design supports the use of packaged plants and sub-assemblies to minimize onsite installation and commissioning.
- Develop procurement strategies for work packages, assessing risks related to buildability, procurement, and lifecycle costs.
- Build effective stakeholder relations and develop interface and engagement plans.
- Work with QC/QA teams to meet all deliverables according to standards using BIM 360 and COBie data.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and project managers.
- Manage risks through hazard identification and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure critical milestones are met across project phases.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and mitigation plans.
- Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with senior experience in large MEP projects.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in consultancy and construction of mega-scale MEP projects, including 10+ years in design review, project management, and consultancy.
