Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its Civil & Infrastructure teams on large-scale construction projects. You will manage multiple activities and schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure resources and documentation are on track on-site and off-site.

You will support the team with detailed scheduling, shop drawings, RFIs, and change quotes while promoting safety standards across the project.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years working experience in the construction industry.
• A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• A passion for providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with project coordination and administrative support.
• Review and update construction schedules, ensuring open lines of communication with team members, trades, consultants, and clients.
• Maintain, review and follow-up on shop drawings, RFIs, material orders, change quotes, and completion documents.
• Review, collect and analyze project quotes to help secure best prices in the market.
• Own collection and completion of project reports for assigned projects.
• Promote HS&E programs and ensure compliance with OH&S acts and codes on-site.

As a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure teams, you will play a key role at the heart of our Structures. You will manage multiple activities and schedules to gain a clearer understanding of the client’s, team’s, and project’s needs. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will be crucial in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks.

What you will do

• Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.
• Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication when it comes to our team members, trade partners, consultants and clients. Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.
• Utilize your passion for organization through the successful maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
• Meticulously review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking out the best prices in the market.
• Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for your assigned projects.
• Be a role model for the application project specific safety standards helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
