Description
The Industry Engagement Team in the Office of VP Research invites applications for a Project Coordinator. This full-time fixed-term position is for approximately 24 months, with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Manager, Industry Engagement, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, the Project Coordinator will help initiate industry-partnered research and innovation opportunities at the University of Calgary.
As part of the strategic goals outlined in the Ahead of Tomorrow Research and Innovation Plan, the Industry Engagement Unit aims to connect industry partners with researchers, leverage investments, and foster partnerships. The Project Coordinator will be vital in ensuring the unit meets these goals, requiring a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, judgment, and collaboration abilities.
This is a 2-year full-time AUPE position with potential extension. Work hours are generally 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with possible flexible hours to meet operational needs.
