Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of drafting experience in an industrial environment.
• AutoCAD proficiency; electrical or mechanical drafting is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Willingness to learn and grow into project management responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate drawings using AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Support design and engineering teams by preparing layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with panel technicians, estimators, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate design changes.
• Maintain organized files and drawing records.
• Participate in project meetings and gain exposure to planning and controls.
• Develop skills to transition into project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
