  • Monitor project schedules, prepare progress reports, and maintain records.
  • Manage correspondence and project-related calls and emails.
  • Support budget tracking, invoicing, and document management.

Britton Electric Ltd., the largest electrical contractor in Quebec, is seeking a Project Coordinator Assistant to join our team.

Required experience Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or electrical industry.

Certifications Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or College Diploma (DEC) in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Position Summary :

The Project Coordinator Assistant plays a key role in providing administrative and organizational support for electrical construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, this position helps ensure the smooth execution of projects from the planning phase through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with the administrative preparation, coordination, and follow-up of project files.
  • Prepare, format, update, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, purchase orders, and related documents.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Monitor project schedules, prepare progress reports, and maintain accurate and organized project records.
  • Manage correspondence and handle project-related phone calls and email communications.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to budget tracking, invoicing, and document management.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for electrical construction projects as required.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or College Diploma (DEC) in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or electrical industry.
Technical Knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with project management software.
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
