Job summary

Outcape, a full-building envelope company serving Atlantic Canada, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support cladding and glazing projects from planning through on-site execution. You will assist Project Managers, analyze drawings, help prepare bids, and develop shop drawings while building strong relationships with clients and field crews.

Travel to site and off-site locations may be required; applicants should have 1–3 years in trades or building envelope estimation and an engineering

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in trades specialty or building envelope estimation.
• Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology diploma (3 year program).
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge in the safe use of fall protection equipment and PPE.
• Travel to the site and off-site locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with coordination and administrative support.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to understand project requirements.
• Assist with cost estimates for cladding of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings including all materials required.
• Assist with preparation and presentation of detailed bid proposals to commercial clients.
• Prepare shop drawings and other technical submissions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Branch Manager, Project Foremen and Crews, and other stakeholders.

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator facilitates commercial cladding and glazing work across installation, maintenance, and repair, maintaining strict safety standards on-site. Partnering with Project Managers, this position ensures operations are completed on schedule, efficiently, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with coordination and administrative support.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to understand project requirements.
• Assist with cost estimates for cladding of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings including all the necessary materials required in the construction process.
• Assist with preparation and presentation of detailed bid proposals to commercial clients.
• Prepare shop drawings and other technical submissions.
