Job summary

Voyago in Carp, Ontario is seeking a 310T Licensed Technician for a full-time role. You will perform preventative maintenance, service heavy-duty diesel vehicles, and ensure safety in compliance with MTO and Voyago/Transdev guidelines.

You will work with inventory parts, document logs, and support a positive team culture with strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 310T license.
• ODP certification with A/C experience or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in heavy-duty diesel repair and gasoline systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving and team-building abilities.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Valid G-class driving license and clean driving record.
• Criminal record must be clean.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance in compliance with MTO and Voyago/Transdev guidelines.
• Utilize parts from inventory and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Service vehicles according to corporate policies and procedures.
• Keep the work environment clean and tidy.
• Complete required reports (driver repair logs, log books, PM service logs).

Your Role

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager

• You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago / Transdev's guidelines.


• You will utilize parts from inventory and complete repairs in a timely manner.


• You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.


• You will keep work environment clean and tidy.


• You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division).

Requirements

Your Profile

• You possess a minimum 310T license.


• You have ODP certification with A/C experience or are willing to obtain.


• You have experience and working knowledge of heavy duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.


• You have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.


• You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.


• You have excellent proven customer service experience.


• You have a valid G-class driving license.


• You possess a clean driving record.


• You have a clean Criminal Record
