Voyago is hiring a 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic (2nd–4th year) for our Kitchener Garage. You will report to the Fleet Manager and perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety while adhering to MTO and Voyago guidelines.

Your role includes repairs using inventory or parts orders, documenting logs, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be STO 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year.
• ODP certification with A/C experience is required.
• Experience with light duty diesel repair and gasoline engines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organized and reliable.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventive maintenance per MTO and Voyago guidelines.
• Order parts or use inventory via Fleet Management software to perform repairs.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner and service vehicles per corporate policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; complete required logs and PM service records.

Job description

Voyago is hiring 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic (2nd - 4th year) for our Kitchener Garage.

Your Role

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager,

• You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines
• You will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs
• You will complete repairs in a timely manner
• You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
• You will keep work environment clean and tidy
• You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division)

Scheduled Shift:

Monday to Friday (7:00AM - 4:30PM)

Hourly rate:

$27.00/hr to $36.90/hr

Requirements

Your Profile

• You are registered with the STO as 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic - must be in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year
• You have ODP certification with A/C experience
• You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline
• You have Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies
• You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• You have excellent proven customer service experience
• You have a valid G class driving license
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
