Job summary

Voyago in Carp, Ontario is seeking a full-time 310T Licensed Technician to join our fleet team. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel and gasoline engines, and ensure safety in line with MTO and Voyago/Transdev guidelines.

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will use stocked parts, complete logs and reports, keep the workspace clean, and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused culture with day shifts and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 310T license is required.
• ODP certification with A/C experience or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with heavy duty diesel repair and gasoline engines.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Valid G-class driving license with a clean driving record and a clean criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance per MTO and Voyago/Transdev guidelines.
• Utilize inventory parts and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Service vehicles following corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Complete required reports (sign-offs on driver repair logs and PM service logs by division).

Your Role

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager

• You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago / Transdev's guidelines
• You will utilize parts from inventory and complete repairs in a timely manner
• You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
• You will keep work environment clean and tidy
• You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division)

Requirements

Your Profile

• You possess a minimum 310T license
• You have ODP certification with A/C experience or are willing to obtain
• You have experience and working knowledge of heavy duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline
• You have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies
• You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• You have excellent proven customer service experience
• You have a valid G-class driving license
• You possess a clean driving record
• You have a clean Criminal Record
