Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will assist with keeping projects and all related processes running smoothly. Working under the direction of the Senior Manager and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders such as Operations, Legal, HR, IT, Compass Digital and Vendors/Suppliers.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Project Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Assist the Project Manager with administrative functions including scheduling, tracking action items, managing project documentation, meeting minutes, and processes throughout the length of a project.
  • Manage smaller sized implementation projects
  • Assist with addressing day to day issues, solving problems, eliminating roadblocks, improving on processes and troubleshooting
  • Provide support to the Sr. Manager Canteen in all aspects of the day to day operations of the department
  • Support the Canteen Mobilization Team’s overall goal to reduce or avoid costs, increase efficiency, streamline processes and build confidence and trust with our clients, internal departments, contractors, consultants
  • Maintain department tracking and reporting system
  • Review and approve project documentation including project charter, requirements documents, design documents, requests for change, meeting minutes and schedules and timelines for small projects
  • Review and approve vendor document submissions

  • 3+ years experience working with in a role that requires project coordination
  • Diploma in Project Management or Business Administration; CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Smartsheet required
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; MS Project, and Visio knowledge preferred
  • Experience with maintaining a central repository of project artifacts, plans, reports and history
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage expectations
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively and seek help when needed
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and the ability to present ideas in a user friendly format
