Project Coordinator

AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups, providing a wide range of services to the nuclear industry in Canada and globally for over 60 years. We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.

Location – Mississauga, ON

The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager or General Manager and is responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction work. This role requires ongoing communication with project team members and involves identifying, planning, and executing various scopes of work. To support career growth, the successful candidate may participate in short-term rotations within other Candu Energy or AtkinsRéalis Nuclear project teams, gaining broader organizational exposure.

Rotations may include supporting the preparation and execution of Candu Field Services work, with responsibilities including supporting field teams and ensuring work is performed per scope, possibly on-site in the customer's reactor vault.

Your role within the team:

  • Manage assigned project scope, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual compliance.
  • Liaise with engineering, construction, quality, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with client project counterparts.
  • Assist in implementing project schedules and tracking budgets for engineering, procurement, and construction segments.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on technical document administration and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of project outputs.
  • Provide status and progress reports to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure work adheres to quality program requirements and nuclear safety culture is upheld.
