Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. You will support Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of industrial projects.

You will coordinate activities, track schedules and progress, maintain documentation, and facilitate communication among internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of FLHA's, permits, turnover packages, QC documentation, and construction work packages.
  • Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Understanding of industrial labour agreements, subcontract management, and workforce planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality expectations. Support the Project Manager in day-to-day execution tasks.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, change logs, and safety documentation. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans such as the Safety Management Plan, Quality Plan, and Subcontractor Management Plan.
  • Help monitor contract deliverables and scope changes. Ensure documentation is updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking project performance metrics and flagging potential issues to the Project Manager.
  • Support the implementation of project management policies and procedures in collaboration with the project leadership team.
