Job summary

FLINT Corp. in Canada is seeking a Project Manager in the Craft & Corporate division to oversee multiple mechanical projects across Canada, turning plans into completed work while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate diverse teams, and leverage your mechanical expertise to deliver projects that power Canada's energy and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

  • Education in Mechanical Engineering or a trades background.
  • Experience managing mechanical brownfield/greenfield construction, pipelines, and plant shutdowns.
  • Ability to read and interpret RFPs and technical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.
  • Proficient in using systems for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
  • Experience analyzing project and operational financial data and implementing performance action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with mechanical client representatives throughout project development, execution, and completion to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Execute contracts according to client requirements and specifications, ensuring the scope of work, terms, and conditions are understood and communicated to management.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring execution plans are developed and implemented to meet goals.
  • Assist in developing budgets, managing changes, determining progress, and generating forecasts.
  • Provide direction to the Project Controls group, evaluating performance, giving feedback, and resolving issues.

As our Project Manager in the Craft & Corporate division, you'll apply your mechanical expertise and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously—turning plans into reality while developing the teams around you. Your work will directly contribute to FLINT's 100-year legacy of building critical infrastructure that serves communities across Canada.
Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will utilize your 10+ years of experience managing mechanical projects to lead the successful execution of each project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive project plans and systems, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget while receiving strategic support from the Area Manager.

What would you be doing?

Qualifications
  • Education in Mechanical Engineering or Trades Background.
  • Experience managing the mechanical aspects of brownfield/greenfield construction, pipelines, and plant shutdowns.
  • Ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), as well as technical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.
  • Proficient in utilizing systems for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
  • Experience analyzing project and operational financial data, with the ability to implement performance action plans to improve results.

Additional Information
