Job summary

Mammoet in Edmonton is seeking a Project Coordinator to support heavy-lift and transport projects. This junior role offers exposure to diverse scopes, environments, and execution strategies, with mentorship and travel opportunities across western Canada and beyond.

You will learn to manage resources, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams, while maintaining a strong safety focus and striving for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or operations related experience.
  • 2+ years of combined field and/or project experience.
  • MS Office; ERP familiarity is an asset.
  • CSTS certification is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from concept to completion with safety at the core.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Project Managers and Leads to develop skills.
  • Assess project scopes and documentation.
  • Organize project activities for efficient execution.
  • Develop project plans for client and internal presentation.
  • Contribute to solving challenges while assessing risks.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project records and report progress.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

TheProject Coordinatorrole atMammoet a dynamic junior position focused on delivering heavy-lifting and transport projects safely, efficiently, and successfully. This role is ideal for a who thrives on variety—no two days are the same with Mammoet’s diverse project portfolio offering a range of scopes, environments, and execution strategies.

This position offers the opportunity to break into heavy lift and transport projects in western Canada and the world. You will manage, and be mentored on, a mix of projects ranging from local transports to remote lifting operations. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As Project Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from concept through completion, ensuring safety remains the top priority at every stage. You will grow to manage resources, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams while navigating unique operational challenges and diverse work locations.

  • You collaborate with Sr. Project Managers and Leads to develop your project skills.
  • You assess project scopes and documentation.
  • You organize project activities necessary for the efficient execution of the project.
  • You develop project plans for client and internal presentation.
  • You actively contribute to solving project challenges while assessing and managing project risks.
  • You communicate proactively with project stakeholders to report on the project status and progress.
  • You independently maintain complete and accurate project records.
