Job summary

Englobe in Canada seeks a project coordinator to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working on environmental and energy projects across various markets. You will contribute to bold, practical solutions and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes coordination, communication, and supporting project delivery. A 1–3 year background in engineering/PM is preferred, with strong English and basic French an asset.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or certification in Engineering/Technologies/PM, or equivalent.
• Strong English grammar, spelling and composition; good oral communication; French a plus.
• Able to participate in regular meetings and coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email.
• Professional, energetic, and action-oriented.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and initiatives.
• Enjoys working in a professional office with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in projects, supports client input, and coordinates.
• Work with design teams to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
• Develop relationships with clients, engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
• Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, and cost opinions.
• Prepare reports, proposals, budgets, and project plans.
• Coordinate tender and construction services, issue addenda, review shop drawings, track RFIs.
• Estimate and schedule projects, invoicing and close-out reviews.
• Monitor budgets and track proposals and change orders.
• Apply Englobe’s health and safety policies.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination;
• Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery;
• Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel;
• Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost;
• Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager;
• Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking;
• Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources;
• Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders;
• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures;
• Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures.

What Makes You Unique

• Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution(Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management)or equivalent project coordination background(minimum1-3 years).New Grad’s will be considered;
• Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required;Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset;
• Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email;
• Professional, energetic, and action-oriented;
• Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills;
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment;
• Effectively manages a variety oftasksand/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously;
• Able to balance work and personal requirements;
• Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
