Job summary

Englobe seeks a proactive project coordination professional to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate with engineers, technologists, and construction personnel on projects across environments, energy, transportation, and infrastructure, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes client interaction, accurate documentation, and coordination across departments, with occasional site visits and flexible work arrangements to support nationwide projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management (or equivalent).
  • 1–3 years of experience; New grads considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; good English grammar, spelling and communication; French an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project coordination, handle client input/feedback, and support overall coordination.
  • Collaborate with single or multidisciplinary design teams to ensure sustainable project delivery.
  • Develop relationships with clients, engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, and project plans as directed by the project manager.
  • Coordinate tender and construction services, including addendums, shop drawings, and RFIs.
  • Estimate and schedule projects, track invoicing and close-out activities, and maintain company data/resources.
  • Monitor budgets and pursue financial opportunities including proposals and change orders.
  • Apply Englobe’s health and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Role may be based in Western Canada but supports Atlantic Canada and projects nationwide.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination;
  • Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery;
  • Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel;
  • Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost;
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager;
  • Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking;
  • Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources;
  • Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures;
  • The successful candidate may be based in Western Canada; however, this role supports operations and projects in Atlantic Canada, for projects all across the Country.
What Makes You Unique
  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution(Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management)or equivalent project coordination background(minimum1-3 years).New Grad’s will be considered;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required;Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset;
  • Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email;
  • Professional, energetic, and action-oriented;
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment;
  • Effectively manages a variety oftasksand/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously;
  • Able to balance work and personal requirements;
  • Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
