Job summary

Englobe is seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our team in Western Canada, with projects across the country. You will support multi-disciplinary design efforts, coordinate client input, and help deliver sustainable engineering solutions in environment, energy, transportation, and buildings markets.

You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors, manage schedules and budgets, and contribute to proposals and reports.

Qualifications

Degree/diploma/certification in Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management or equivalent background (New Grad’s considered).
Strong command of English grammar, spelling and composition; solid oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with coordinating meetings and teams, multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Actively participates in projects and coordinates client input/feedback.
Works with design teams to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
Develops relationships with clients, engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
Prepares engineering specifications, drawings, and cost opinions.
Contributes to reports, proposals, budgets, and project plans as directed by the PM.
Coordinates tender and construction phase services, including addenda and RFIs.
Estimates and schedules projects, processes invoices, and maintains project data.
Monitors budgets and tracks financial pursuits including change orders.
Promotes Englobe’s health and safety and security policies.

Your Main Responsibilities

Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination;
Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery;
Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel;
Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost;
Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager;
Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking;
Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources;
Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders;
Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures;
Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures;
The successful candidate may be based in Western Canada; however, this role supports operations and projects in Atlantic Canada, for projects all across the Country.

What Makes You Unique

Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution(Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management)or equivalent project coordination background(minimum1-3 years).New Grad’s will be considered;
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required;Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset;
Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email;
Professional, energetic, and action-oriented;
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills;
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment;
Effectively manages a variety oftasksand/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously;
Able to balance work and personal requirements;
Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
