Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team working on environmental, renewable energy, hydroelectricity, transportation, materials, buildings and climate change markets. You will collaborate on projects of all sizes, coordinating client input and assisting with budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution (Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management) or equivalent project coordination background (minimum 1–3 years). New grads considered.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination.
  • Works with single or multidisciplinary design teams to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  • Develops relationships with clients, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Prepares engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost.
  • Prepares reports, proposals, budgets, project plans, and tender submissions as required.
  • Coordinates tender phase and construction phase services, including addendums, RFI tracking, and shop drawing review.

Your main responsibilities
  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination;
  • Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery;
  • Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel;
  • Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost;
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager;
  • Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking;
  • Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources;
  • Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures;

The successful candidate may be based in Western Canada; however, this role supports operations and projects in Atlantic Canada, for projects all across the Country.

  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution(Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management)or equivalent project coordination background(minimum1-3 years).New Grad’s will be considered;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required;Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset;
  • Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email;
  • Professional, energetic, and action-oriented;
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment;
  • Effectively manages a variety oftasksand/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously;
  • Able to balance work and personal requirements;
  • Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
