A leading utility contractor in Canada is seeking a Project Assistant for a fixed-term role in Thunder Bay. The successful candidate will support project teams by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication to ensure project execution. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills and have prior experience in administrative roles, particularly within construction or utility environments.
We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our team of project support staff in a fixed-term role from June 2025 to July 2027 at our project sites near Thunder Bay, Ontario. This position will be on a 20 days on / 8 days off rotational schedule.
This position will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to our on-site project teams. Responsibilities will include assisting with project coordination, maintaining project documentation and records, scheduling meetings and appointments, and facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
