Job description

Manager, Program Management – Responsibilities

• Lead complex development and production programs and proposals for new and non‑routine business opportunities.
• Plan schedules, arrange own activities, and manage project budgets and schedules using appropriate project management control techniques and proactive EAC management in collaboration with Program Finance.
• Maintain an Open Issues List and key milestone documentation, provide concise direction to the Capture Team, Program Execution IPT, and the customer to ensure alignment toward execution milestones.
• Oversee and administer all key process/function deliverables for a given project, drive a rigorous active Risk and Opportunity register, and update or retire R&O’s during execution.
• Represent the organization as a prime customer contact on key issues and network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise on issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Minimum

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience delivering programs to government agencies, commercial and non‑government regulated industries.
• Proven ability to create and produce winning bids in the target international customer community.
• Strong leadership skills, proactive team builder who can motivate and lead by example.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing effective, long‑lasting relationships – internal and with customers.
• Strong negotiating and closing skills; experience in managing and motivating diverse teams in the delivery of innovative solutions.
• Ability to take complex analysis and present/communicate it in a concise manner.
• Excellent commercial and financial awareness, including a good understanding of risk and opportunity management, analytical reasoning skills and decision‑making.
