Job summary

Role Summary

Senior Analyst, Quality Engineering – Join our dynamic team to ensure projects and process control documents comply with customer requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Use CORE methodology to drive continuous improvement and exceed customer expectations
  • Work cross‑functionally to develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols
  • Design and specify testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure product reliability
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 guidelines
  • Review customer purchase orders for quality requirements and planning
  • Review drawings and specifications for dimensional accuracy and testing requirements
  • Identify and manage risk in product development using PPAP core elements, FMEA, MSA, process flows, and control plans
  • Review and disposition engineering changes
  • Participate in the material review process for nonconforming product
  • Facilitate root‑cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities using fishbone and 5 Why techniques
  • Review manufacturing output data and analyze using SPC principles
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer on all quality‑related issues
  • Review data and facilitate continuous improvement activities such as cost‑of‑quality reductions
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of risk identification and management using PPAP, FMEA, MSA, process flows, and control plans
  • Experience with RCCA activities using fishbone and 5 Why techniques
  • Ability to review data and facilitate continuous improvement activities such as cost‑of‑quality reductions
  • Proficiency with MS Office software, especially Excel
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal communication skills for cross‑functional teamwork
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Conducted FAIs in accordance with AS9102 guidelines
  • Experience reviewing customer purchase orders for quality requirements and planning
  • Experience reviewing and dispositioning engineering changes
  • Experience in material review processes for nonconforming product
  • Skilled at creating, updating, and auditing documentation
  • Skilled at reviewing drawings and specifications for dimensional accuracy and testing requirements
Security Clearance

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, have resided in Canada for at least five consecutive years, and meet all other program requirements. Job offers are contingent upon successful security screening.

Pay & Benefits

Salary Range: 65,000CAD – 107,800CAD (good faith estimate). Benefits include medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, tuition assistance, and eligibility for short‑term and long‑term incentive programs. Relocation eligibility and a signing bonus may be offered at the discretion of the company.
