Job summary

Elevate Service Group is launching a certified pre‑owned equipment business and is hiring someone to build it. You will own the sourcing, pricing, grading, refurbishment, and sales processes end to end, with a national service network and OEM relationships to leverage.

Day one starts with no team or playbook; you will define the standards, establish serialized inventory tracking, and drive revenue and margins across Ontario and Atlantic Canada while collaborating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in B2B equipment sales, distribution, dealer channel, asset remarketing or a closely related field.
• A commercial track record you can quantify with margin and revenue; proven ability to hit targets.
• Experience valuing, buying or moving physical assets: trade-ins, fleet, remarketing, auction or liquidation.
• Demonstrated understanding of gross margin, COGS and inventory economics.
• Evidence you have built a durable process, standard, territory or program.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build the sourcing engine for equipment: trade-ins, new sales, auctions and dealer trades.
• Sell refurbished equipment to independents, small groups and existing chain customers; defend margins.
• Define the certified pre-owned standard: grading, refurbishment scope, warranty terms and tracking.
• Manage inventory turns, gross margin targets and write-down discipline.
• Coordinate refurbishment with service leadership to avoid impacting billable work and manage logistics.
• Forge partnerships with OEMs and maintain clean pre-owned channel with proper certifications.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, sanitation, gas and refrigerant requirements with clear terms.
