Our nurses, personal support workers, therapists, and other healthcare providers deliver care and services that offer clinical, personal, and social support in homes and communities across Nova Scotia and Ontario.
Region : Chatham – Kent
The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager(s) and leading the daily operations within the framework of VON's philosophy, policies, procedures, standards, and quality management.
Maintain timely communication with clients, community partners, and internal staff.
Post-secondary diploma in health/social sciences or equivalent; experience in teaching senior fitness (in-person and virtual); 2-3 years in community/health care; 1-2 years in program planning (asset); experience in not-for-profit healthcare (asset).
Commitment to confidentiality; strong knowledge of healthcare networks and community resources; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams; organizational and multitasking skills; problem-solving; proficiency in Windows and MS Office; attention to detail; high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance. Criminal Records Check and possibly Vulnerable Sector Search/Child Abuse Registry Check required. French language skills are an asset. PPE may be required.
