The Program Coordinator (PC) plans and coordinates the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of two academic programs: the Student Academic Success Pathway Program (SSPP) and the Student Summer Research Program (SSRP). The PC manages all aspects of these programs, including assisting program directors with oversight, enhancing student support services to promote academic achievement and well-being, and implementing strategies for academic intervention, mentoring, and student success initiatives. The PC tracks student progress and coordinates collaboration between faculty and staff.
Key responsibilities include coordinating academic advising, remediation programs, supplemental initiatives, and using testing data to monitor student progress and prepare reports. The PC works with SSRP directors to coordinate collaborations with research institutions, ensuring deadlines and program requirements are met.
The candidate must have a proven record of successful teamwork, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
A Master’s degree in education or a bachelor’s degree with over three years of relevant experience is required. Additional training in program evaluation and instructional delivery is a plus.
