Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Program Controls Specialist I in Mississauga, ON (or Cambridge, ON). The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control, risk mitigation, and performance analysis to support projects and programs.

You will report to the Sr. Program Controls Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a CGP/CS clearance environment. Base salary starts at 65,000 CAD with considerations for experience and scope.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Engineering, Finance or Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office preferred.
  • Strong analytical and cost-control skills required.
  • Ability to influence across the organization and work in a matrix environment.

Job Description

As a Program Controls Specialist I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in supporting the program controls function for projects and programs. You will be responsible for assisting with project planning and scheduling, monitoring project costs and budgets, identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, and analyzing project performance metrics. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will contribute to the successful execution of projects and programs.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Controls Manager and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON or Cambridge, ON location.

In this role, you will impact the organization's financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, and overall success in delivering projects and programs.

Qualifications

The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and/or CSP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Post Secondary education.

  • The user experience of the SAP system.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g. Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management.
  • Experience in the usage of Earned Value Metrics, Estimate at completion growth, and Milestone Fidelity.

The annual base salary for this position starts at $65,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
