Job summary

MSP Corp in Richmond Hill, Ontario is seeking a Professional Service Specialist to lead onboarding, infrastructure assessments, and modernization for clients.

You will be the technical owner during onboarding and project refreshes, validating configurations, security posture, and documentation, with hands-on networking using FortiGate and Aruba, plus Microsoft 365 deployments.

Hybrid work, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week; travel with a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing IT infrastructure audits in MSP environments.
  • Hands-on with FortiGate firewalls and Aruba networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver client onboarding from initial site visit through full integration into MSP Corp systems.
  • Perform on-site and remote onboarding for new clients, validating access, baseline configuration, networking readiness, and security posture.
  • Conduct formal IT infrastructure audits covering networking, firewalls, VPNs, and backup.
  • Identify risks and remediation recommendations as part of audits and onboarding.
  • Act as the primary technical owner during onboarding and project refreshes, coordinating with clients for information validation.
  • Deliver networking deployments (FortiGate, Aruba) and integrate environments into MSP Corp platforms.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Professional Service Specialist to join the MSP Corp. Central team.

About the Role

As Professional Service Specialist you will be responsible to lead technical onboarding, infrastructure assessments, and modernization initiatives for new and existing clients. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every client environment is properly evaluated, secured, documented and fully integrated into MSP Corp’s systems. You will act as the primary technical owner during onboarding and infrastructure refresh projects conducting formal audits, validating configurations, identifying risks and delivering networking and Microsoft 365 deployments.

  • Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Work Mode: Hybrid
  • Travel Requirement: These positions require a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
What You Will Do
  • Deliver client onboarding from initial site visit through full integration into MSP Corp systems and documentation standards.
  • Perform on-site and remote onboarding for new clients, validating access, baseline configuration, networking readiness, security posture, and documentation completeness according to MSP Corp SOPs.
  • Conduct formal IT infrastructure audits and technical assessments covering networking, firewalls, VPNs, Microsoft 365 posture, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and remediation recommendations as part of audits, onboarding, and infrastructure refresh activities.
  • Act as the primary technical owner during onboarding, infrastructure refresh, and modernization projects, coordinating directly with clients to gather and validate technical information.
  • Deliver networking deployments as part of onboarding and project work, including switches, firewalls, wireless, and ISP turnups, with hands‑on experience using FortiGate firewalls and HPE Aruba switching and wireless platforms.
  • Onboard customer environments into MSP Corp management platforms including Salesforce, N-central, ConnectWise, and IT Glue documentation systems.
  • Support project delivery alongside Project Leads, including Microsoft 365 migrations and deployments across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Teams Voice, Intune, and related services.
  • Perform post-deployment validation and stabilization, ensuring infrastructure, security, backup, and network configurations are verified and ready for handoff.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Leads, Project Managers, and the Service Desk to ensure clean project handoff, long‑term supportability, and preservation of historical client knowledge.
  • Exercise sound technical judgment, elevate risks and blockers early, andensure work aligns with MSP Corp standards and security‑first practices.
What We Are Looking For
  • Have proven experience performing IT infrastructure audits and onboarding in an MSP environment
  • Be confident deploying and configuring networking equipment including FortiGate firewalls and HPE Aruba switching and wireless platforms
  • Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Teams Voice, Intune, and related services
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify infrastructure risks, security gaps, and remediation recommendations
  • Be comfortable working both on‑site and remotely with clients
  • Have hands‑on experience integrating environments into platforms such as ConnectWise, N‑central, Salesforce and IT Glue
  • Show strong project collaboration skills, working alongside Project Leads and Service teams for smooth handoffs
  • Exercise sound technical judgment and proactively elevate risks or blockers
  • Maintain a security‑first mindset aligned with MSP Corp standards
