Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for the Global Final Line Assembly. The role involves delivering integrated solutions, performing analyses, and guiding design changes to improve production and certification outcomes.

You will work with cross-functional teams, review test requirements, and contribute to proposals while maintaining strong relationships with internal departments and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering and PE eligibility.
• 2-8 years in aircraft Systems Engineering (Hydromechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Propulsion, Pneumatics).
• Experience providing engineering support to Final Line/Production.
• Conversant with design, qualification and certification test requirements.
• Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material.
• Strong integration skills with system partners and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering support to the Global Final Line Assembly.
• Provide integrated engineering solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues impacting final line production.
• Perform technical engineering analysis of existing systems and structural designs to recommend improvements via RFC/PCR.
• Provide technical engineering guidance to Quality, Methods, and Production.
• Review functional test requirements and translate into mature functional tests.
• Work with the product development team on technical proposals, including written material and presentations; review design changes.
• Develop good working relationships with BA departments and suppliers.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and eligibility for Professional Engineer registration.
• You have experience in providing engineering support to a Final Line/ Production.
• You have 2-8 years’ experience in aircraft Systems Engineering (Hydromechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Propulsion and Pneumatics).
• You are Conversant with design, qualification and certification test requirements.
• You are Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material.
• You possess strong integration skills, in both system partner management and system technical integration.
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office software.
• You have strong communication skills, ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $77,000 to CAD $127,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.

In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
