Job summary

Bombardier in Canada seeks an experienced program leader for aerospace interiors to drive governance, strategy and cross-functional workstreams. You will own budgets, coordinate engineering, finance and operations efforts, and translate big-picture strategy into actionable priorities.

You will transform data into clear dashboards and KPIs to support fast, informed decisions, with strong communication across bilingual teams and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in aerospace interiors, cabin systems, program management or engineering.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in English and French; ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Chair and/or act as a proxy for the Platform Manager in key governances like Change Boards, Executive Program Reviews, Advisory Boards, Mandate Reviews, CARB and other engagements.
• Manage Sales, Product Strategy, Supplier Management and Operations requests and escalations.
• Facilitate leadership meetings and ensure follow-through on action items.
• Ownership of the platform statement of work and adherence to budget parameters alongside portfolio priorities.
• Drive cross-functional, cross commodity alignment and collaboration to unblock high-impact projects. Functions include (but not limited to) Engineering, Methods, Customer Support, Finances and Logistics.
• When called upon, participate in the execution of more complex multi-commodity projects to ensure proper coordination amongst the stakeholders
• Translate big-picture strategy into actionable priorities.
• Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights by developing health dashboards, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and interpreting results to support faster, informed decision-making

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
• You have 5-8 years of professional experience in aerospace interiors, cabin systems, program management, or engineering. Exposure to strategy and governance within a Program Office setting is an asset.
• You work independently while seeking out guidance and learning/development opportunities from colleagues.
• You demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, project coordination, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• You possess high emotional intelligence and adaptability in a fast-paced environment requiring quick turnaround to questions and assignments.
• You are exceptionally proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership without requiring direction. You can work with limited oversight.
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• You are highly collaborative and have a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
• You have exceptional communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• You are proficient in both French and English.
• You have experience with digital tools, highly competent in Excel with financial modelling experience alongside strong software proficiency (e.g. MS Office suite, TEAMS, Power BI, SAP, etc.)
• Skilled at building clear, compelling slide presentations
• You have proven analytical and financial acumen with solid attention to detail while keeping the broader program context, mandate in mind.

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $86,200.00 to CAD $160,000.00 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.

In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
