Production Team Lead

Position Summary

This role supervises daily activities of team members, ensuring safety and meeting production deadlines. It requires proactive management of team dynamics and workflows, emphasizing productivity and safety.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate team efforts for efficient, timely installations, clarifying responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Implement a progressive discipline process to uphold company policies and foster accountability.
  • Complete tasks with high quality standards, aiming for excellence.
  • Follow procedures for parts handling to meet quality benchmarks and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Quality Assurance to resolve issues.
  • Ensure proper training and cross-training of team members for versatility.
  • Report unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.
  • Keep workstations clean and tools organized at shift end.
  • Accurately complete documentation and track labor.
  • Ensure LiveBus is completed accurately before line moves.
  • Plan and execute tasks to meet daily production schedules.
  • Monitor part shortages and report promptly to prevent delays.
  • Conduct daily Toolbox meetings and communicate regularly with team members.
  • Adapt effectively to changes and support continuous learning, including the Oracle system.
Requirements

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and understanding of process sheets and work instructions.
  • Knowledge of online installations and commissioning processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
  • High attention to quality and detail orientation.
