Job Title: Product Support - Documentation
Job Summary
The Production Support reports to the Product Planning Manager. This position is a 1-year contract role to cover a parental leave of absence.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks assigned by production support supervisor by prioritizing and organizing to best meet production needs and scheduling.
- Maintain all required manufacturing information as needed.
- Complete engineering, purchasing, obsolescence changes as assigned.
- Ensure in-progress changes are clearly communicated to all Salford sites (as needed) and the process is completed promptly.
- Investigate root causes of shortages or bill of material issues brought forward by the Quality, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Production departments.
- Execute and follow processes, standard workflows, and quality control measures.
Academic/Educational Requirements
A secondary education diploma or certificate is required.
Required Skills/Experience
- Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP/Inventory Management software (INFOR Cloud Suite is an asset).
- Data Entry/Information Processing skills.
- Experience in Bill of Materials management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Hands-on experience or detailed knowledge of agricultural machinery is a strong asset.
- One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, steel fabrication tools, and measurement is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven troubleshooting, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive outlook.
