Qualifications

Job Description:

Job Role/Responsibilities

  • Provide effective day-to-day production support for applications through problem identification and timely resolution of production issues.
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible incidents/problems, options, and recommendations for prompt resolution.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Suggest and implement solutions to enhance system performance and stability
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and other teams to pinpoint root causes and implement solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate withregional support teams and participate on weekly calls/handover/handover calls.
  • Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in resolving critical service issues.
  • General Shift timings 7 AM to 4 PM or 10 AM to 7PM. Rotational weekend support patching activities (if needed).

Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years of working experience in supporting production application systems.
  • Having a good understanding in Fixed Income/Swaps products and associated front to back operational workflows.
  • Having exposure to the book of record/trade capture systems like Calypso/Markitwire are added advantage.
  • Hands on in handling BAU queries related to Fixed Income trade life cycle are added advantage.
  • Experience in supporting end of the day(EOD) regional batches and experience in enterprise scheduler like Autosys
  • Track and continuously look for the opportunity to improve the EOD deliverable timings and modify/adjust the Autosys jobs through JIL if needed.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issue related to applications, databases, and infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Have a strong technical skill in SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.
  • Having hands on experience on applications/tools like JIRA/ServiceNow/Collaborate.
  • Having experience in monitoring tools like ITRS/Dynatrace/Splunk are added value
