Iris's direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in Canada, is looking to hire a Production Support Analyst for a Long-Term Contract / Full-Time opportunity.

Work location: Calgary - hybrid working (3 days/week)

Job Description

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in the financial industry; prior Capital Markets/Futures experience is a plus.
• Experience in implementing and supporting large-scale production systems, end-of-day monitoring, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Commodities and Futures Trading activities (Trade Flow/STP, PnL valuation/break), Market Data Feeds, and applications such as Openlink, XTP systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ITRS Geneos, Job Scheduler (CTRL-M), Windows, Programming in Python, and supporting MQ, SOLACE, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participation in rotating weekend support, on-call work, Disaster Recovery tests, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and deliver within tight timelines.
• 24x7 on-call support based on rotating shifts for end-of-day monitoring.
