Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Manager, Solution Support, the Application Support Analyst II will be responsible for and play a technical expertise role in supporting various solutions of varying complexities.

Experience
  • 3+ years of related technical experience within an application support environment, including:
    • Advanced knowledge of Citrix application hosting technologies.
    • Intermediate knowledge of SQL scripting language and database management.
  • Ability to work with web-based applications and familiarity with web browsers.
  • Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • A post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Requires a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
