Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage day shift operations and execute the afternoon shift supervisor role, focusing on Engineer to Order (ETO) production. This backfill position reports to the Production Manager and is based onsite.

You will lead daily manufacturing activities, drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and champion Lean Six Sigma while coordinating with other departments to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada; we will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, directing supervisors and employees while addressing issues to improve production schedules and customer delivery.
• Improve performance on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial metrics following company policies and best practices.
• Develop capacity, staffing, and resource plans based on demand, requirements, and priorities in a high-mix environment.
• Lead supervisors and employees through feedback, performance management, and development.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and engaged work environment built on mutual respect and integrity.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics and establish targets with corrective actions.
• Coordinate across departments to align production priorities and meet customer commitments.
