Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited in Inkerman, ON is seeking a Production Supervisor for New-Life Mills to lead daily plant operations, oversee staffing, production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and the timely manufacture of finished products.

You will be a key member of the management team, driving health and safety initiatives, Feed Assure and quality assurance programs, preventative maintenance, and all health and safety initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in relevant field or equivalent employment experience.
• Availability for on call evenings and weekends depending on business needs.
• Experience in Agriculture or Food Production would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Train production staff on Health and Safety, Feed Safety, and regulations; ensure compliance with Feed Assure.
• Staff Management: Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling for efficient production staffing
• Production Oversight: Schedule runs, monitor performance, and track deviations per QA/QC policies.
• Collaboration: Work with management on team-oriented approaches to customer service and quality; communicate regularly with the Plant Manager.
• Inventory Coordination: Monitor raw ingredient inventory and coordinate production forecasting with Dispatch and Customer Service.
• Maintenance & Quality: Prioritize repairs with maintenance teams; implement the corporate Quality Assurance program.
• Health & Safety Committee: Act as management representative, schedule meetings, inspections, and training.

Your Team

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our New-Life Mills team. The Production Supervisor will lead daily plant operations, including staffing, production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and the timely manufacture of finished products.
