Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) Inkerman Feed Mill in Inkerman, Ontario, is seeking a reliable Batcher for our New-Life Mills team. This full-time permanent position focuses on preparing and mixing ingredients, including medications, to produce quality batches in compliance with SOPs.

You will stage ingredients, document batch records, manage ingredient inventory, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and operated.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in operating computerized processing equipment.
• Ability to read digital and video readouts with extreme accuracy.
• Maintain and file records accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to support an 8-hour rotating shift with occasional weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory controls for shipping and receiving ingredients.

Your Team

New-Life Mills: New-Life Mills has been a leader in livestock nutrition since 1964, providing feed solutions that support healthy, productive animals. With a focus on research, quality assurance, and species-specific expertise, we help farmers achieve optimal performance and profitability.

We are seeking a Batcher to join our New-Life Mills team. This role is responsible for the mixing of hand added ingredients, including medication, to produce quality batches ensuring all processes and standard operation procedures and guidelines are followed.
